a) Brief Overview of the GRE General Test

The GRE General Test is a computer-adaptive exam designed to measure the skills needed for success in graduate and business school. It consists of three main scored sections:

  1. Verbal Reasoning: (Two sections, 27 questions total, 41 minutes)

  3. Analytical Writing: (One section, two tasks, 60 minutes)

The test also includes an unscored research section that can appear in any order after the Analytical Writing section.
